About us

Our names are Jelle and Martin, we are based in The Netherlands and we are the guys behind Curve Kultur. The page originally started its life as B5_nation back in 2015, aimed towards a specific type of Audi, namely the S4 and RS4 B5.  At the time we both had a weak spot for the Audi B5 models because of its sleeper looks, tuning potential and the sound of the legendary 2.7 bi-turbo V6 engine. Since we have been car guys from a young age we decided to create an online community for owners and fans to connect, before we ever owned this type of car ourselves. The page grew rapidly, we learnt a lot about social media and content creation and most importantly we got to know many cool people through the page. Eventually we got ourselves our dream cars, Martin owning the S4 B5 and Jelle owning the Audi S3 8L, then we started sharing everything we did with our cars on Instagram, things like modifications, restoration, general maintenance and eventually road trips, which lead to the next phase of the page. 

We both really like the Alps, probably thanks to our parents taking us there on holidays when we were kids and also because we are from The Netherlands which is as flat as a pancake, so mountains feel very special to us. When we finally got our own cars our passions collided and we started driving our cars to and through the Alps, we enjoyed it so much that it became a yearly tradition. During our holidays we usually went to countries like Austria, Switzerland, Italy and France to drive as many mountain roads as possible, while recording it all on GoPros, drones and microphones for the exhaust sound. Eventually the passion for driving, discovering beautiful roads and destinations with awesome cars off all brands and sizes surpassed the passion for the Audi B5 model in specific. So we decided to change the name of the page to "Curve Kultur", where we share all sorts of content from our beloved driving roads and drivers cars with you. As well as blogs filled with information about cars, driving roads and tips & tricks to enjoy them to the maximum.
